Meet the therapist.

Hello! I’m Laura Binagia, a licensed counselor in Texas. (LPC #81695)

I’m a therapist based in Texas, originally from the Beaumont area, now living in Fort Worth and seeing clients anywhere in Texas through my online practice!

I have always been a “deep thinker,” wanting to understand everything on a deeper level and collect life wisdom, not just facts and ideas.

Some stereotypical things I love include coffee, my family’s dogs (especially my rescue beagle), quiet stretches of time in my introvert cave, long walks listening to podcasts, cozy evenings at Italian restaurants, sweater weather, wearing sweaters even when it’s not sweater weather, and people-watching.

I also love to be joyful, lighthearted, and carefree when life permits. Some of my most cherished experiences include solo travel to Argentina, Spain, and elsewhere, becoming involved in local bachata (and other) dance communities, EDM concerts, whale-watching off the coast of Seattle, meeting a favorite podcaster IRL, and learning from different spiritual teachers.

I like to think I meld both these sides of me into the space I hold for clients, which helps make space for both the dark depths and the joyful sparks of life. We can, and must, hold it all.

Feel free to reach out to me directly (email would be best) if you have any other questions as a prospective client, or if you’d just like to connect as a fellow clinician, etc. :)
